NeighborGood Partners has two significant investments as part of our mission of developing affordable housing on the horizon. First, originating an apartment development aimed at farm/poultry workers and secondly, the purchase of a 78-acre site to develop affordable housing, including single-family houses, duplexes, and townhouses, both developments in Sussex County, Delaware. These purchases mark the beginning of our strategy to acquire land for affordable housing development in Sussex and Kent Counties. These developments represent significant steps towards our goal of providing more affordable housing options in the region.
Our steadfast effort to provide guidance to individuals in preparation for homeownership through our homeownership orientation and financial education workshops is a staple of our mission. NeighborGood Partners has helped over 10,300 families purchase a home to date and continues to provide resources to our clients through their journey – both triumphs and challenges.
